Our journey, which began in 2008, embodies a commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility, upheld today by Heather and Jake Dial.

HISTORY

DEEP ROOTS IN THE ORCHARD AND FARM COMMUNITY.

TreeWash was born when Roger and Sally Ellis began researching organic, copper-free methods of controlling fruit-tree diseases and pests for their own orchard in Tieton, WA. They made the first batch of what was destined to become the TreeWash solution in their kitchen and tested different formulations on their trees, plants, and produce, until they were sure that the solution was effective in controlling fire blight, gummosis, pear psylla,
and more.

They launched the fledgling TreeWash company in 2008, and continued refining and testing the product with their customers on fruit farms across Washington State. In 2021, Roger handed on the business to his niece, Heather, who is now running TreeWash together with her husband Jake Dial.
